-Many behind the scenes changes that may affect skin and theme behavior. -Broadcast optimizations. XIG, skins, and themes are the areas of interest this time around. Some big changes are being made under the hood for the future that could cause some issues. Beta Installation Instructions Download the Xfire Beta update from the link provided in the news post on the community front page. Exit Xfire. Copy xxxa.exe to your Xfire data installation directory For XP users c:\Program Files\Xfire\ For Vista users c:\ProgramData\Xfire\ and run it to update your Xfire. Note that these folders may be hidden on your system and will require you to make them visible. If you don't know how to do this, then you probably should not be attempting to beta test Xfire. |
