WOGL Celebrates New Website with Giveaway
The World Online Gaming League has gone through a lot of changes the last few months. Today launching our new website design. We launched a new automated league, tournament and ladder system and last but not least the new "Echelon" Anti-Cheat system that has already made a large impact in protecting our league. In celebration of this WOGL will be giving away (1) Brand new Intel 330 60Gb SSD drive to a lucky facebook user or Premium Member. WOGL Opens Registration for the IeSF Qualify
The World Online Gaming League is proud to announce the opening of qualifying for the 2011 IeSF World Championship. The event will take place in Andong, Korea where 40 Nations will compete in FIFA Online 2, Starcraft 2, and Alliance of Valliant Arms. WOGL will be holding qualifiers for both FIFA and Starcraft 2 for U.S Citizens.
Stephen Tucker WOGL's CEO stated, "This is a great opportunity for WOGL to take the top players in the U.S to compete on the world stage and how fitting for us to announce it right before Independence Day. These players will be competing on behalf of the United States against some of the top players in the world. How's that for pressure? We are looking forward to again, for our 2nd year in a row, attending this event."
Here are the event details:
All Events:
Must be a U.S Citizen
Must hold residence in the U.S.
Must have a valid U.S passport.
Must be able to travel to Korea.
Must represent WOGL, e-sports, your team, and the United States in a professional manner.
Must attend ALL IeSF events while in attendance. (banquets, awards,etc)
Official Titles:
FIFA 11 - The game to be played in Korea is FIFA Online 2 however we do not have the game in the U.S so qualifying will take place on FIFA 11 PC version.
One player will represent the U.S
Prize - Flight, accomidations, and meals at venue provided.
You must be able to provide your passport when asked. If not we will take the 2nd place finisher.
You must have permission from parents and school to travel before hand.
Starcraft 2
One player will represent the U.S

WOGL Expands to Europe and Gives it a Face
The World Online Gaming League is proud to announce that beginning today we are launching a new platform in Europe officially as WOGL:EU. Over the last few years everything has been run from one site at WOGL and as we have expanded our offerings and opened our borders we could see that we needed a more specific precense in Europe. Currently we are working on filling some major positions within WOGL:EU and once those are put together we will launch our registration for some upcoming game titles. WOGL Releases Competative Ladders
Good Afternoon Everyone,
Today the staff at WOGL are proud to announce the beta opening of our new ladder system. Many players have asked us to look at doing this and we decided that it was time. This will give us the ability to add new games for trials before league play is considered, to run community special events and to break into console leagues as we continue to expand. Look for your game on the WOGL ladder as we begin to launch.
Our first ladder will be Mission Against Terror 5 v 5 Bomb Mode. Players will compete through October 31st on the ladder and then we will narrow the teams to a final top 12 for a single elimination playoff. The winner will be crowned the M.A.T Open Beta champions. WOGL Partners with Wicked Interactive on FPS
August 29th - Parrish, Florida - The World Online Gaming League would like to announce that we will be partnering with Wicked Interactive on a new FPS Title to be released in Closed Beta on September 3, 2010. This new free- to- play first person shooter is going to be a great addition to the WOGL’s game titles.
WOGL’s CEO Stephen Tucker stated, “What a great opportunity we have working with Wicked Interactive and their team. The WOGL staff has been granted access before closed beta release to help look through the game and come up with ideas for events, locate potential issues we see that could hinder competitive play and to give our input on what we think about the game. In my opinion this is a strong first step for a game publisher to take to help create appeal for the competitive e-Sports community. What they are doing is taking a direct interest in competitive play before they release the game and I for one commend them. I am looking forward to working with Wicked Interactive as we get ready to launch a great new FPS.”

WOGL and G4BOX Team up to Deliver a New Level
Parrish, Florida – April 14th 2010 – The World Online Gaming League.LLC is happy to announce that we will be teaming up with G4BOX the publishers of Cross Fire to bring gaming to a whole new level.
We will be offering two types of tournament play options for Cross Fire players with a free to play and paid league. With prizes ranging from in game weapons and ZP credits to paid league players winning up to $1000 cash.

WOGL Releases WOGL Chat
The WOGL staff are proud to announce our latest release to the website. WOGL Chat is the new website chat feature that will allow you to talk to everyone that you have added to your website freinds list. Besides just being able to chat you can send files to each other, play games and create chat rooms. Currently this feature is available to try free of charge until April 23rd. On the 23rd the chat feature will only be available to staff and Premium Members. This is a great tool to use when searching for scrims, setting up matches or just simply to chat with your freinds. So enjoy it while it lasts and give us your feedback as we continue to create value to you Premium Members who continue to support WOGL.

WOGL Announces Machinima Contest $50 cash
Hello Everyone,
Today we would like to announce a WOGL Machinima contest. All video developers we are looking for a WOGL/WOGL.TV commercial to be made. The winner of this contest will take home $50 Cash. The following information should be used in developing your video:
1. Integration of all WOGL League Titles (Crossfire, A.V.A, Combat Arms, Modern Warfare 2 and Battlefield Bad Company 2)
2. Utililze voice overs from WOGL.TV broadcasts. (email us for ftp info to access these files stephen@wogl.org)
3. We would like this to be an advertisement for WOGL and WOGL.TV.
4. HD Quality throughout the video.
5. Utilize WOGL, WOGL.Tv and Partner logos. (Available via FTP)
6. Commercial should be between 1 and 2 minutes in length.
7. You cannot change the colors or integrity of any WOGL logo's.
We do not want montages we want a thought out commercial.
