WORLD OF TANKS: PRE-RELEASE MAINTENANCE
The maintenance works are scheduled for 4:00 AM UTC, April 12
World of Tanks informs all its players that pre-release maintenance works are scheduled for 4:00 AM UTC, April 12. From that moment World of Tanks game will be unavailable for up to 18 hours.
Technical details of the upcoming hardwipe / full reset:
Banned accounts (the ones on the non-selected server) created during the server-split on January 17 are to be removed.
Social contacts are to be removed (friends and ingnore lists).
Registered clans and their members are to be carried over to the release.
Hardwipe / full reset is to be performed: experience, gold, credits, research progress, modules, equipment,
achievements and medals are to be reset.
Premium tanks for those players who registered using special CBT keys are to be assigned (extra slot included).
CBT participants registered prior to 27 January 2011 00:00:00 UTC with 1.000 or more battles played according to profile statistics are to be rewarded with M4A2E4 gift tank...

World of Tanks starts the contest of Dendy-style videos!
Inspired by your ideas, suggested in the contest "Bright Life of a Light Tank", World of Tanks team decided to start a new project.
"Dendy-style World of Tanks" is the contest of gameplay videos, performed in the style of 8-bit games of 90's. We expect you to create gameplay videos, which must combine the diversity of battles and other original ideas with 2D overviews and suitable themes, shot in the game so that to form decent movies.
The contest starts April 6 and ends April 24.
Important features for the entries:
We welcome everybody to take part in the contest. One player - one high-resolution gameplay video;
The video can be captured in any battle;
Duration - not shorter than 1 minute, and no longer than 5 minutes;
The video (or link to it) must be posted in the proper forum topic;
The gameplay video should not violate moral, ethical, legal or any other game rules;

The v.0.6.3.10 patch will add premium tanks (box and pre-order): M4A2E4 (American tier 5 medium tank).
