Today I attempted to log into TTP and found the following message;

"Sorry for the downtime, everyone, but we are taking care of some much needed maintenance on our web server. The game servers are still up and running though so get on there and get to playing!!"

This was anticipated, though not known exactly when. TTP's previous host for the Forums, Dreamhost, notified their customers of a $7.5 MILLION billing error, via a BLOG, which was so professional entitled, Um, Whoops, which included a professional picture of Homer Simpson, yeah, you read that right, HOMER SIMPSON, cartoon character extraodinaire!

I am presuming now, that since I have heard nothing from TTP Leadership (due to my intermittant absence), that they have finally gotten all the affairs dealing with a migration to a new Host completed and are, as you read this, currently migrating. The amount of down time for TTP is unknown at this point, it could be a matter of hours, days or even (PLEASE NO!!!) weeks.

However, as the aforementioned quote states, TTP's game servers are not actually connected via the same service provider, so they will still be up and running with no difficulties related to the Forum outage. VMF's clan website with X-Fire (now you understand why this site is merely a backup) should be fully operational and functional. Members should check here for the latest news or developments.
