Hello villains and victims alike, there has been a few changes to our servers and new members to welcome.
First things first, please welcome BlackdethVv to the clan, he hails from Minnesota, and we have been gaming with him for the past few and think he has the right stuff for the family. He comes to us via social networking on RasberryVv's behalf over at the 83rd HCTDM server.Please make this new member feel welcome and be as helpful as you all can be with any questions he may have.
Now for as to the server and site changes:
We have undergone a cosmetic process as well as function service on the website www.darksaintproductions.com, home of our clan. The changes were performed to refresh the look of course, and improve on our site security as well. Things have been generalized as well as placed in more accessible locations much thanks to the hard work from Nix0r and Saint himself on that. As for the servers I am listing the ip's below for those that do not know what they are.

If you Click on the TS icon above, this will gain you access to the Teamspeak client in \"Rar\" form.
When you download it, you unrar the the client to your desktop then install.
When setting up the TS client, you will have a choice to join the server as an anonymous or registered user. Join as anon unless you have a prior nick name and password on our server.
When you join, a sysop may ask you to register with the server. We will then assign you a password. When assigned the password you will be asked to then leave the server and rejoin. Do this by un-checking the Anonymous box and now checking the Registered box. You will also enter your password in the User Password box and your (now registered name ) in the Login Box.
You should now be a registered user on our Team Speak. If there is a connection...

Good News
Filefront has been bought back by it's previous owners. Yes Owners. Understanding that all the hard work that they cashed in on would have gone to the dump, they made an offer Ziff couldn't refuse apparently.
Gaming Forums and All files sites are still intact as are the majority of the staff. Under the blanket of a possible April fools joke, an announcement was made on April 1st that the continuance and support of filefront will go on.
Most staff have now gone missing since the episode, but there are those who held out hope. Whether it was hope of an Fools day joke, or hope that someone would have enough pull to purchase the DB and such from Ziffy.
Thanks to the new owners for keeping the FF dream alive. I am sure there were people laughing in their kennels over Filefront going down.

Filefront's owners ( Ziff Davis media) have figured out they are no longer capable of supporting it and keeping it opened as their bankruptcy comes full circle. Gamingforums.com ( the forum backbone for all the sites under filefront's umbrella) was taken with no notice to it's users nor volunteers.
The File sites will still be active till the 30th of this month when they will be taken offline. Staff access has been revoked as I am sure the owners probably thought they would maliciously change stuff on the sites they worked on soo hard to keep up.
But be of good cheer my fellow gamers! Something is in the works to keep those precious files available! When we know the facts (and the url) so will you so stay tuned!

ATC: AWOL
Long time "affiliate" ( if you would call him that) Bigboy (of ATC hosting) has pulled the plug on his customers with less than 24 hours notice to some. No Email contacts nor forwarding phone number is available to contact the business at this time. His services have been shoddy at best with allowing several sites last year to be tampered with by the "Host" he purchased his Resellers Hosting from. Everyone had downtime except one or two sites he hosted. 4 plus days of downtime to most.
As he purchased the URL's for everyone he was hosting, it will be a drag out battle of sorts. Please be sure to get your pay pal records ( if you paid him ) together as they will probably be the only contract you have that connects you to him.
People that were hosted by him are encouraged to come and speak with Merrick Or Nixor as to replacement hosting.

A Note About Admins
Our server admins are generally easy going people and want you to have fun while playing on our servers but even they have their limits.
The easiest way to get along on our servers is to follow the rules posted here: http://darksaintproductions.com/e107_plugins/forum/forum_viewtopic.php?588.
Pay particular attention to item 2. If you're lucky, arguing with or swearing at an admin will only result in a temp ban but that is left up to the individual admin's discretion.
Follow the rules. Don't let your frustration cause you to lose a good server to play on.
Just another note here. Someone who is trouncing you is not necessarily cheating. Some of us have been playing SOF2 for years. We're not cheating, we're just better than you. With practice, you'll get better. We're willing to help you get better. Just ask.

Campers Welcome server lag
VaudVillany apologizes for any difficulties you may be experiencing while playing on our server.
The lag issues on the Camper's Welcome server are the result of router issues which we have no control over. We are in contact with those who are capable of dealing with this issue so please have patience.
