I notice Network Solutions has an ad on Xfire. Just a suggestion... avoid them like the plague. If you're hunting for a domain name, don't use their search system for it.

Here's their game. If you use their whois search and come up with any name in that search, they register it immediately holding it hostage (reserving it)for a few days, during which the name is up for sale.

Another trick they have is if for some reason you DO register a domain with them, it is NOT yours. It belongs to Network Solutions and you may not migrate to another host for any reason until the name becomes free again. It's possible you can't even get it then because NS exposes the domain name to snipers who buy it within moments. They even do the service of notifying anyone who wants to know when a domain name expires and is available, then sells it to them.

Avoid them. Want a real story just ask me. I personally know of someone who's domain has been held hostage for 3 years because they were suckered into registering it for 3 years. Cost of hosting isn't a deal either. I can get more storage, more bandwidth, Wordpress, and more for 1/3 of the cost with a domain name that is 1/2 the cost AND I can migrate it to whatever host I wish.

Network Solutions is no solution.
