a Spam bot has recently sent a Large number of PM's to people.
be cearful when checking your PM's and DON'T open the Spam PM's, just Deleat them strait away.

VFF Status Update 30/10/08
Well, it's been mostly quiet, but there are a few things to mention.
1) The Spambots are back, with a vengeance. Make sure that your MSN or IM address isn't visible on your VFF forum profile, as several people have been targeted this way.
2) The New site seems to have stalled. If anyone knows what's happening here, please comment.
3) Forums have been updated with an area for forum games. 'Maxwell's Madhouse' It's awesome.
4) The Vanguard Site is very definitely back up. Go visit. *Grins*
5) V3 Is also back up and running. so grab your guns and start shooting. (Preferably at random targets)

Just to let every one who thinks they have been banned, they havn't... Vanguard appeares to have been attacked, and the site is Down till Achilles can fix it so please Be patiant

Update: Attacked again By spam.... Forums down again....
Update: Achilles: "Nasty Spammer was back and managed to post almost 600 posts before I managed shut things down so the hoster did not shut the site down again."
Forums Back up, and Hopfully the spam should Stop... Account Activation is now on =)
