The new content's finally here folks! If you're on Steam the updates have already been pushed out, but for those of you still on retail here are the download links:

Steam Integration, Betas, & PUGs oh my!
For the few of you out there that don't know, UT3 retail can now be activated on Steam by entering your CD key. This gives you auto-update push & the ability to install your game without needing the original install media. See here: http://www.beyondunreal.com/view_story.php?id=12472
Also, there is a MAJOR patch forthcoming, version 2.0. This patch will finally break backwards compatibility and has an extensive list of bugfixes and improvements. The patch has now entered its third beta, with a projected release sometime in the coming week or two. Be on the lookout!
Finally, don't forget to PUG it up! #ut3pugs and #ut3ctf on irc.gameradius.org are still open for business!! For those of you without an IRC client, you can get UT3IRC v2 here: http://www.fileplay.net/file/1723/ut3-irc-v2

UT3 Patch 2 Beta 2 Released
A new beta has been released; this one fixes the dreaded TCPLink crash, and makes the beta fully compatible with 1.1. My sources tell me this one is good enough to be Release Candidate material. Interested parties may download the patch at http://www.epicgames.com/download/UT3Patch2beta2.exe
There is a chatroom named UT3 summit which contains the link to the patch & xfire fix in the motd, and where there is much chatter about UT3 at the moment. It is persistent so once again once you've visited you can come back using the server tab in xfire. I'd like to remind everyone once again to check into the forum and sign a location thread so we can get a headcount.

Epic announced on its mailing list recently that the 1.2 patch is currently undergoing internal beta testing. I looked at the changelog and here's a preview of the issues that are fixed, I hope you'll find this list as pleasing as I did:
-CD Key re-prompting glitch
-Automated server join via commandline
-White arrows on/off option
-Customizable crosshair size
-Favorites/history glitch w/ >9 Servers
-Can now directly add favorites from browser
-Compression for redirects
-Added webadmin
-Banning now works all the time
-Massive AI improvements
-Teams are automatically balanced each map start
-'Change team' button available from before match start
-Fixed 'Invalid URL' bug when traveling to new map
-Fixed the exploit in DM-Deck above the RL
-Fixed the portals in DM-Gateway
-Fixed demo playback
-Fixed dedicated server memory leaks
