A group of players of the game UniBall make up the foundation of this XFire clan. UniBall is a space simulation hockey/soccer/football type game where you maneuver, you pass and you shoot in order to score goals. UniBall isn't a MMORPG like World of Warcraft(WoW), or a FPS like Call of Duty 4(CoD4), but it has a heavy soccer element like in FIFA or Football Manager. UniBall represents a merge between sports and simulation, and it breaks the sports element down to the fundamentals of one's chosen team sport(ball control, passing, shooting, defending).

One of the longest running independent games on the Internet, UniBall has evolved from a simple version of space hockey into a sport that is uniquely its own. The basics remain simple and easy to learn: you maneuver, you pass and you shoot in order to score goals. But beyond this simple design lies a surprisingly complex game involving teamwork and individual skill that can take a lifetime to master.
You're always learning new things and improving your game. It's so simple yet so deep with its gameplay. If you can stick with it and get through the tough newbie stages you'll never turn back. The higher end competition is great and every game is exciting and fun.
Uniball is a combination of hockey and soccer, except that you play with ships. Although there are many different maps, generally there are two teams with 2 or 3 players a side.
