i see with have some new members. so for all of you who dont know im the crazy dota fanatic. Whos constantly going to be on your back to train and make you into something as imba as ursa :p
if anything we need to practice before the dota tourney. assuming we're entering.
also my lan isnt going on so next is hamish.

Toowoomba Report
I've decided to write a support summarising our attempt in the Toowoomba DotA Competition hosted by Infinity Cybercafe.
Although I can't remember the scores, I'll write a brief review on each match as well as naming an MVP from our team.
Match 1
vs GONE
Team Xtreme: Faceless Void, Nerubian Assasin, Centuar Warchief
GONE: Vengeful Spirit, Rogue Knight, Shadow Fiend
Review: Quite a dissapointing start especially from my behalf. Being the hero with the lowest HP, I (Void) was targeted with Venge's ulti and chain stunned by her and Sven. Oscar (Warchief) had a solid game being the only one to have mainted a positive score but lacked support as Ben and I soaked up too much damage.
Result: Loss

Team Xtreme: Treant Protector, Enigma, Tormented Soul
Noobs: Lightning Revenant, Magnatuar, Lord of Olympia

Team Xtreme: Lord of Avernus, Tinker, Keeper of the Light
Undecided: Priestess of the Moon, Oblivion, Beastmaster.
Review: A truly epic game despite the unfavorable outcome. This combination of early games + tank proved lethal in the opening stages of the match and was maintained right throughout the mid-game. Ben (Tinker) dominated his oppenent proving not many can survive Tinker's early game arsenal. While me (Avernus) and Oscar (Keeper) managed to match our opponents abilities and even get a few more kills in the process. Mid game proved to be even better with me successfully tanking allowing Oscar and Ben to do the pushing and with Fatuus maintaining the Top and Bottom we broke into their base at around 40mins and destroyed both buildings. Once Oscar got his scepter we thought we had the game in the bag, but we were wrong... Beastmaster's ulti was enough to keep me out of action while Priestess feasted on Tinker and occasionally bagging Keeper in the process. Although it took a...

GG Client
We've recently begun using GG Client to play against fellow DotA players and I must say it is a worthy download. It is easily faster than Battle.net and possibly even Hamachi. Until I get enough experience to create a clan on GGC we can use it to play public games every so often.
