.C:zar. & Nemesis' Departure from TVL
Hey All,
This is a news post to notify all TVL members and members of the public and CoD4 gaming community that TVL|.C:zar. & TVL|Nemesis have resigned from their positions as TVL Leaders and Clan Administrators.
The reason that Nem and I are leaving The Vulcan Legion is that the new server administration and TVL team have opted to lead the clan and server in a different direction to what we consider our vision of TVL.
As TVL|Hybrid will be the only remaining leader left in the clan of the original three, he will be taking over clan administration as the sole leader until he decides otherwise.
It has been a pleasure gaming with all the members of TVL and the rest of the general public who have played on the TVL CoD4 Server with us and we wish everybody all the best in the future.

Change of CoD4 Server Ownership
Hey all,
This is just to let everyone know that the TVL Call of Duty 4 Server is no longer under the ownership of .TVL|C:zar. and myself, due to other commitments. It has been a pleasure administrating the server for what has been the better part of a year and a half and I thank all those that were involved.
Best of luck to the new admins: TVL|Killer, TVL|Mud Garde, TVL|Boric and TVL|Revon.
If there are any queries regarding the change, please forward those on to any of the new admins.

A News Post - Now That's News!!
Hello TVL Members and Guests,
This is a news post to inform you that there has been a news post on The Vulcan Legion's Xfire homepage. The news also includes the information that this is the news post.
Also in other news today, the release of Call of Duty 7: Black Ops is fast approaching. The general opinion expressed by the majority of the clan is that we will be testing the game thanks to our generous supplier, The Internet, before deciding to fully purchase the game for online play. Depending on the success of the single player campaign and the overall feel of the multiplayer experience (provided LAN gameplay is available), TVL may or may not be hosting a CoD7 server. At the moment the decision is leaning towards a negative.

Over a Year of Gaming Under Our Belts!!
Just a special note,
The Vulcan Legion has recently reached a logged gaming time of over one year (currently 397.75 days)! Great job guys, together we have officially acquired an amount of gaming time greater than the actual age of the clan. Very impressive
Still waiting on reaching a years worth of CoD4 though so keep it up!

Featuring a host of editing techniques absent from previous frag releases, Revon's Player Profile, edited by myself, presents itself as an exciting addition to the video library of TVL. Possibly the greatest release to date, the frag exposes, from a different perspective, one of The Vulcan Legion's most formidable members.

Yep there's another TVL Productions video that has just been released. Featuring footage contributed by Hybrid, edited and produced by .C:zar..
TVL Productions aim for the series is to release a number of frags dedicated to each player named in the promo trailer. The players record all of their own footage and choose their songs, while either Nemesis or .C:zar. edits and releases the footage.
The first release will be TVL|Nemesis so keep your eyes open for that one, it'll be released within the coming days.

CoD4 Clan Video - Seeking Footage!
Hey Everybody,
Just a reminder that we are still seeking footage for our CoD4 Clan Video. Any members who are interested in contributing please see http://www.xfire.com/communities/tvl23/news/1774775/ for information on how to record your footage and who to send it to.
We would ask that footage be recorded only on TVL Clan Server, as recording in SD demonstrates a greater amount of skill, and will also help to increase the reputation of the server and create an added media of exposure to the community.
Please consider contributing as this is a great way to demonstrate your CoD4 skills to your peers. The more input we have from the clan community the better! (:

The Vulcan Legion CoD4 Clan Video has entered its preliminary stages of development as an effective way to capture footage and distribute it in small files has been uncovered.
Detailed below are the instructions to record your own footage. We would ask that you record your footage in rounds, (i.e. after each round stop and start the record command using binds - instructions on how to construct recording binds also detailed below).
How to Start and Stop Recording:
As stated before, there is a very easy way to capture footage, built into CoD4. Using the commands /record and /stoprecord you are able to capture a whole game with a file size of only around a megabyte. To view the footage recorded requires a program called CoD4 Player which can be found here. It works by reading the file and playing it through CoD4 where you are able to change the speed, turn it into third person, etc. It is recommended to bind the commands so you can easily start and stop numerous...
