My experiences with the new-look Xfire client

I have been very lucky to be one of the first to test the new Xfire skin. It's not avaliable to everyone, and I cannot give it to you. It will be launching into beta soon enough.

Anyway, I got the skin just before and have had a quick test of it. The overall Xfire experience is still the same, but it is looking much nicer and more modern. The grey overlay goes great with the blue and white colours that are seen all over the new skin. All of the icons have been redone and look quite good. The buttons have all been made bigger, and all have a light that comes down from above them when the cursor is held on them. The "Add friends" button has been made much clearer this time, and is a large blue button in the middle of the main interface and even in the in-game menu.

Xfire Survey Results
Just in case some of you haven't noticed the advertisement on the Xfire Client, I would like inform everyone that the results for the Xfire Survey are in.

The new-look site and client
Hello everyone,

A few days ago, Xfire unveiled their new website to the public for beta testing. If you haven't already seen it, you can simply go to: http://beta.xfire.com to view it in it's full glory!

I also noticed on the front page, a new look client. I recently asked Mark from Xfire about this, and it's very close to what the new Xfire client will look like. He even has a video of it here: http://beta.xfire.com/videos/4f6aba
