Warzone was subsequently abandoned by its creators, and through the tireless efforts of the community, over the years the source, movie and music files were released.

Now a dedicated and passionate group of gamers continue to upgrade, update and mod Warzone 2100, looking to create the ultimate in RTS gaming

New master snapshot 20111204 has been release

New master snapshot. Took a bit longer than the last one, but has a lot more changes as well.

For one, the old fallback for teamcolours with OpenGL 1.4+ was included again. The main target is still OpenGL 2.0, but at least it now runs on older hardware, and you can actually tell friends and foes apart. Also some work on walls and blueprints, see the changelog for details.

This is where Warzone is heading guys. If you have a fairly decent computer, download and enjoy WZ in it's revamped graphical glory. Don't forget to join the forums and comment, report bugs, give suggestions and so on.

2.3.7 is already out for a week!

Time for another 2.3 release!

Apart from the usual heap of bugfixes and translation updates, this release includes some multiplayer rebalancing to adjust for the working-again armour: MG damage to cyborgs was increased by 10%, to tracks decreased by 10%, and to bunkers decreased 5%. Cannon damage to buildings and hardpoints increased 10%, to bunkers decreased by 25%. Also, the AI got some new top level templates, which hopefully make it a bit more dangerous in the end game.

As usual, we need bug reports to fix problems in the game. Please note that we use tickets only to track bugs, for discussions about how features should work and feature requests we have a dedicated forum section.

Warzone 2100 3.0 Beta 4

The Warzone 2100 Project staff bring you 3.0-beta 4!

Please submit all bugs via this link, and follow the directions listed at the link, we need every bit of that information in order to fix bugs!

NOTE: the command line arguments need a "=" between parameters now.
For example: --mod_mp=blah

NOTE: For mac users: Support for 10.4 has been discontinued; using 10.6 is highly recommended as 10.5 does not support a sufficiently high OpenGL version for all types of GFX cards.
