BSB Supports Combat Arms

After almost two weeks evaluation BSB has decided to launch an official support campaign for Combat Arms. This will be our major focus at present due to membership numbers but our policy of supporting multiple game campaigns simultaneously is still in effect and members are quite welcome to propose other gaming support campaigns.
For now though we are launching a 12 month support campaign for Combat Arms and because it's free we will be using it as the primary game requirement for BSB membership and focusing much of our resources around support for it.
COMBAT ARMS DETAILS
The game it's self, for those who don't know, is a FREE Close Quarter Shooter, very similar to Counter Strike Source and Call OF Duty 4. Recommended Spec - P4 2.2ghz Processor with 512mb RAM & a GForce 2 Graphics card.

Game features:
- FREE to download and play
- FREE server hosting online with one person acting as the game master (like the old RS and CoH style but without the lag!)
- 11 Balanced and varied maps
- Weapons have to be "leased" for periods of time with global points earned from in game play. Different weapons have different costs.
- Weapons can be customized with the addition of scopes, silencers, stocks and bigger magazines, all for varying costs.
- Customizations for player characters can also be purchased with game points. These include useful things such as varying levels of armour, kit items to increase speed or stamina and even just custom items such as sun glasses, hats or uniforms.
- Public servers are categorized to match players of the same or similar skills/ranks and for clan gaming.
- There are in game ranks achieved by experience points. Ranks unlock different aspects of the game.
- Games are quick and easy.
- There's different modes of play including free for all, Spy hunt, Capture the flag and search and destroy (plant the bomb).
- Online player stats & awards etc.
There is a different site for our North American friends who have been playing the game longer. Unfortunately the game doesnt allow trans Atlantic games so at present we are undecided how to have BSB represented in America and how best to support our American friends.

Recruitment is now open and old members are welcome to re-join us and resume at the equivalent rank they left at. We've already had great feedback from former members wishing to rejoin and are experiencing a bit of a BSB Old-Skool reunion, so come and join in the fun!
