Just wondering if we could ,sometimes, set a date and an hour to play the campaign of arma 2 with a bunch of interested guys. So this Topic is here to cross our agendas in this purpose. (can be with or without me or any guy, so feel free to discuss any possibility here up to 4 players, can be less, one of them is hosting the game. If it's a frenchman like myself, all the texts, briefs and so on will be in french hehe, which is not so bad, after all. |

| sounds good i have been wanting to have a go at the campaign, i know in previous versions of arma2 there were problems with being able to complete the campaign due to glitches etc.this is a reason i wasnt very keen on starting something you couldnt finish. but im sure i read in the patch update that the matter has been addressed and hopefully fixed. | ||

We played a bit sunday, Brew hosting with Flav on board, and Krem, before he went off to prepare his meal hehe. After many failures, mainly due to french unskillfullness and brew's willingness to hit us in the head, we finally succeeded the second mission, amphibious assault. Much confusion (cant see where comrades are, huge amount of uninteresting dialogues, difficult to see what the others tell us, etc), hilarious cutscenes, but still fun to play with other players. |

The second mission were good but pretty short, the third mission not so short. I think we restart it 3 or 4 times before we got it going, and even then it took a reload once in the middle when one of the AIs run off and got himself killed. Later on me and flav discoverd a bug that disables the 4th mission. At the endof the mission the player is supposed to be asked if he wants to continue in the operation or not, but this only works in Single player. At the end of the game we were simply bothed back to the mission select screen without any new mission being avaidable. A quick google search told me this were the normal in mp. |
