The history of the Call of Duty Division spans back to late 2003. To give a brief history of TAW, The Art of Warfare was formed back in 2001 by a group of players who played Delta Force together. Wedge and Omega are two of those players. Delta Force became the first offical Division in TAW followed by Ghost Recon in the summer/fall of 2001. The next Division to join the ranks was Battlefield in July of 2002. The fourth Division to join TAW is Raven Shield in January of 2003.

LGN_Frost was the first DC of the Call of Duty Division. In the fall of 2004, CoD:United Offensive was brought into the mix and the Division played both games simultaneously. The Division then moved on to what was the next game in the series, Call of Duty 2 which was released in October of 2005. The Division changed games once more with the release of the game that brought the Call of Duty game series from WWII into modern times , better known as CoD4: Modern Warfare which is the current game being played today.
