What I have seen
I have seen what looks to be a very good MMORPG coming out sometime in the future. I am not sure anymore who refered me to it but am glad they did. I am not a great fan of star trek and have only seen a few of the episodes since next generation came out and none of the movies with that crew or any of the ones since the original crew. I did like what I saw and heard in the www.startrekonline.com website's second video that gives out the most info about what it will be like and what they are doing to make it the closest to the series as possible.

Warhammer beta
I have been in the warhammer beta trying to play it the last few days. I can only say I have seen better done freeware MMORPG's. I play for a few minutes and then the game crashes my PC, it sometimes crashes it so bad I have to unplug from the wall to get out of lockup. graphics are not quit as good as LOTRO, animation looks like it was done by aliens trying to recreate human movements from photos and no video. most NPC's will not agro you unles you are in striking range of a dagger almost. Most races will never see one another in game unless the PvP area is different from what I have seen in their pathetic attempt for a game map. I am very unimpressed, requiem a freeware game looks better.

Summer time blues
I know most of you are worried about the dwindling ammount of active players in the kinship and in the game. This is a cycle that happens every summer, they will return or new players will replace them once summer is over.
Now since our active officers are dropping in number I have sent out a mail in game to promote new recruiters. Send me a mail and I will promote your toon in game.

yesterdays group
I am happy to announce that we had 1o level 50's and one level 43 in a raid to do quest or whatever yesterday. I know we have the people to do the rift we just need to get the time to do it set. I have mailed the kinship before asking for times you would like to quest as a group and got 2 replies both for sunday.
as a side note, my brother and I have deleted our billing information in the funcom server, effectively canceling our accounts with age of conan once our paid time is out. So for those of you thinking I have quit LOTRO for AoC you can be assured it is not so.

My status
I have heard that some have left the kinship thinking I quit playing LOTRO, this is not the case. I havent been on 24/7 but am still in it. I have been playing some age of conan but not that much as I have been busy in RL with several issues.

Kinship events
I have been busy lately and not updated the event calandar, I hope you have been doing the events anyway even if not posted. I am trying to think of new events that we can all have fun doing and hope to post them soon.
The defenders of the lost light have been enlisting our aid with the rift run they have every week, I havent spoken to them in a couple weeks so am not sure if this is still happening. I understand that an event was put out in kinship mail for monday but it never happened, sorry to hear that. I still think we would have more fun doing group activities than just doing solo questing.

I just got my computer back up and running. My video card fried on me. I kept having crashes but thought it was due to the age of conan beta, as that was when I was having them. Then my computer just kept on crashing every 5 minutes after I would turn it on so I had to take it back. I will be back in the game tomorrow, plan to see how the beta runs now I have my card fixed tonight.

Age of Conan Beta
I got it to work, I dont know if the beta area is the actual game area as we are reestricted to level 13 wich most of us are making in a few hours of game play. Everyone has lag issues in the instances "EVERYONE". quad core PC's are complaining the most.
