Flashpoint Update!
Perhaps, for some of us, this is what we've been waiting for: gameplay content! Sure it may not give us the great details behind SWTOR's dungeon/instance/"raid" adaptations, but at least we're getting some information.

Quote from Some missions are too dangerous for just one hero. In Flashpoints, players team up with others to confront monumental challenges at pivotal moments in the game story. Fight deadly foes, make decisions that determine the outcome of the story, and get some of the best rewards in the galaxy as you and your allies experience Flashpoints.

The new Flashpoints Game Systems page features more detailed information about Flashpoints along with an exclusive video look at Taral V, a never-before-seen Flashpoint from the game. Get ready for great multiplayer action in Flashpoints in Star Wars™: The Old Republic™!

Quesh - Dangerous Investment (New Planet!)
In case you didn't know, SWTOR is going to be rather large - even larger with the addition of yet another planet! I hope you like PvP because this not-so safe, chemically abundant gold mine screams conflict.

Quote from In a distant corner of Hutt Space, the poisonous planet Quesh orbited untouched for centuries, until the surprising discovery of rare adrenal chemicals drew the Galactic Republic to further explore this dangerous world. Unable to process the chemicals into adrenals, however, the Republic was forced to turn to the Hutts for help.

Access the HoloNet to learn more about Quesh. Check out this video to visit the poisonous world, and don’t forget to visit the [URL="http://www.swtor.com/media">media section[/URL] for never-before-seen screenshots, concept art, and wallpapers showcasing the planet.

Studio Insider - Starship Creation
This update isn't that interesting unless you take a look at the picture of all the concept designs for the Starships. There's over 20 of them, so putting 2 and 2 together nets the idea of multiple ships per class? One can hope.

Quote from In every Studio Insider, we take you behind the scenes to give you an exclusive close look at the development of Star Wars™: The Old Republic™. This week, Senior Concept Artist Ryan Dening and Senior Environment Artist Christopher Reeves give us a detailed look at the design process for the Agent Starship, the X-70B Phantom

We also gathered up the questions the community posted in the most recent Community Q&A thread and sent some of them to Senior Producer Blaine Christine. We hope you’ll enjoy this month’s answers. Have a burning question about The Old Republic? Don’t miss out on this month’s brand new Community Q&A thread!

Biographies Update!
If you follow Stephen Reid's Twitter feed, he hinted to good stuff coming "sooner" and some coming "later". Maybe this is what he was talking about but we all know we want more than just biographies! None the less, here is this weeks update.

Quote from We’ve uncovered new HoloNet records containing detailed information on three prominent figures in Star Wars™: The Old Republic™. Make sure you know who’s who in the galaxy – you never know when such information can pay off.

In these new holorecords, you’ll learn about Supreme Chancellor Janarus, stalwart protector of Republic ideals and source of hope for its people. Opposite Janarus, hidden in the shadows, you’ll discover the enigmatic puppeteer of Imperial Intelligence, Darth Jadus. Elsewhere in the galaxy, the cold-blooded bounty hunter Jewl’a Nightbringer ruthlessly hunts down slavers, gangs, and crime lords who manage to catch her attention.

Cinematic Design
Perhaps this isn't an update that some of us "game mechanic's" hunters would like to see but this gives great insight into how we will be dragged into every moment in Star Wars: The Old Republic. Punch a snooty noble in the teeth or subdue to his lowly demands? Reason with the citizenry or use force to get your way? All of this is depicted in the cinematic design.

Quote from Lead Cinematic Designer Paul Marino paints a clear picture of how a scene is designed and directed.

A Cinematic Designer puts on their director’s beret for each scene they work on. Is this a scene for the Jedi Consular? It will most likely be a quiet, emotionally-centered setting, focusing on the difficult choices ahead. Or perhaps it’s a scene for a Bounty Hunter who confronts an obnoxious nobleman and has to choose the best way to extract the information he needs.
