Designing Flashpoints
This week's update gives us more information on how they're attacking the task of building flashpoints (pun intended). Epic battles are epic.
Flashpoint Update!
Perhaps, for some of us, this is what we've been waiting for: gameplay content! Sure it may not give us the great details behind SWTOR's dungeon/instance/"raid" adaptations, but at least we're getting some information.
Quesh - Dangerous Investment (New Planet!)
In case you didn't know, SWTOR is going to be rather large - even larger with the addition of yet another planet! I hope you like PvP because this not-so safe, chemically abundant gold mine screams conflict.
Studio Insider - Starship Creation
This update isn't that interesting unless you take a look at the picture of all the concept designs for the Starships. There's over 20 of them, so putting 2 and 2 together nets the idea of multiple ships per class? One can hope.
Fan Friday with a Special Announcement!
What do you think of the special announcement? Perhaps this is Bioware's attempt to satiate our need for press release by giving us a date for press release. haha
Biographies with Aurebesh Translations
Not much you haven't seen already but the aurebesh translations yield interesting results. Big thanks to the guys over at Darth Hater for their continued work and making the slightest, minute detail something to talk about!
Biographies Update!
If you follow Stephen Reid's Twitter feed, he hinted to good stuff coming "sooner" and some coming "later". Maybe this is what he was talking about but we all know we want more than just biographies! None the less, here is this weeks update.
Cinematic Design
Perhaps this isn't an update that some of us "game mechanic's" hunters would like to see but this gives great insight into how we will be dragged into every moment in Star Wars: The Old Republic. Punch a snooty noble in the teeth or subdue to his lowly demands? Reason with the citizenry or use force to get your way? All of this is depicted in the cinematic design.
