Some of you may be wondering about the origins of this guild's name.
If you have visited or lived in London, you may know that the administrative area of Greater London is a huge area that includes the City of London and the 32 London boroughs which surround The City.
The City of London is a smaller city within Greater London. It is often referred to simply as "The City" or as the "Square Mile," and this area comprises the historic core of London, out of which the rest of London grew. The borders have remained the same since the Middle Ages, and it occupies roughly one square mile in area, hence the nickname.
Many of Hellgate: London's environments are located in the Square Mile.
