These rules are only subject to change by the Administrator and the Co-Administrator. 1: Do not talk poorly of other players or clans. If you don't like the way a person plays and they are in our clan, speak to the Administrators and we'll discuss whether or not they should be kicked from the clan. 2: Do not cheat/glitch. Cheating and glitching will not be tolorated. If you are caught cheating/glitching, you can and will be kicked from the clan. 3: There will be no profanity in game or in any way when refering our clan. If you want a word allowed in games, speak to both Admins and we will discuss it. 4: No nudity. Not much else to explain. Keep those pictures in your My Pictures folder, and off the forums. 5: No racism. _______________ |

First of all, I totally agree with all those. But... I propose a set of sub-regulations. Those are general behavioural rules, but I think we need a code of conduct for SoM itself- Respect of rank, Responsibility as a soldier, etc. For example: No absence of Duty for over 10 days without notice, stuff like that. Since you and Orin are Co-Admins you have every right to add whatever rules and regulations that you wish. If there is something that I disagree with, we'll discuss it and find a compromise. If you want to add new rules go to the Rules Topic and just hit edit and add in the rules that you see fit to add. _______________ |

You're also gonna want to make it a responsiblity of clan members to populate the clan's server when we get one up and running. Maybe set up regulations for having to spend a certain amount of time in the clan server to draw the general public (no one joins empty servers), but also keep in mind that we don't want to get stuck in our own server 24/7 if it is somewhat slow. On the subject, any idea what you plan to make the server? Obviously it will be Hardcore/Tactical, but are you going to do exclusively S&D? And while creating our own maps would be awesome (I plan on downloading the tool kit soon), most people filter out mods, so it will be harder to get people to use the server if we make our own maps. |

When we do get a server up and running, I think that it would be good to have multiple game types. My thought is that when scrimming or when having a official clan match, it will not always be Search and Destroy. i do agree that it will train us to play more tactically though. _______________ |

I think that (pending server of course) any racist/sexist/homophobic remarks should be automatic temporary ban. I played on one last night where a guy made a racist remark and within 10 sec was kicked and everyone was like "wow, that was fast." Obviously people get frustrated at times, but I think that a 2min cool down will make people understand that rules are not to be bent when it comes to something like this. On a side note, I'm a 20 year old caucasian straight male so I'm not personally offended by any racist/sexist/homophobic remarks, I just think that they are a sign of immaturity that we shouldn't put up with and obviously not do ourselves. |

| Just to be clear I would like to know where profanity is allowed if anywhere in the clan. Is it allowed in the forums or in team chat? I ask because working on movie sets has pretty much ingrained swearing into my vocabulary. | ||

We try to keep it off the forums and in game as much as possible, but it doesn't hurt to say something every now and then. It is in no way allowed when you are talking about another player though.

| The main reason I brought it up as an issue is due to the many 12 year olds that spam the bad language they would never say to your face, but have the feeling of being untouchable over the internet. We all get frustrated and all swear, so I've got no problem with it ingame as long as it's not every other word (personal opinion, so check with the officers before quoting me). | ||
