!NuB!Donut has been working hard to add his ideas into Smokin' Guns. He has re-released his Nub Map pack up on Moddb for you to download. So if you haven't already, give it a download and let him know what you think.
!NuB!Donut has also been trying his hand in modeling (some pun intended). He has modified Tuco and Sentenza into mighty Indians for your shooting pleasure! You can get the files from Moddb as well, and make sure you post your comments and feedback in this thread.

You may have noticed the month long contest on the rm comics server. The results are in and the winners have been announced:
Week 1: Zabujca with 720 kills and a 3.6 to 1 kill/death ratio
Week 2: Prophet with 2,626 kills and a 14.75 to 1 kill/death ratio
Week 3: Mr Floppy with 1,320 kills and an 8.6 to 1 kill/death ratio
Week 3: Pardner with 1,585 kills and a 5.36 to 1 kill/death ratio
Grand Prize: Prophet with 3717 kills and a 14.35 to 1 kill/death ratio
Big thank you to rm comics for running the contest; its is a pleasure to have such support in out community. If you want to thank rm comics in person, be sure to post in this thread.

Turn your eyes over to the events section of the Xfire page. rm -r comic is celebrating their three year anniversary with a little Smokin' Guns contest.... complete with prizes!!! See this page for details. Four weeks with 4 separate contests, so make sure you hope on the server and get some points!
Torhu has released an update for his independant SG (& other Q3 based games) server browser. Read about it here. It's a highy recommended download for Windows users & many of us here use it daily to check server activity. Plus, it's a very quick way to find rmrcomic.com's server!

That's right folks, the latest and greatest beta is out! Get your beta information here in this thread. What is changed in the new beta you might ask? A lot of those annoying bugs you run into online have been squashed.
Map bugs have been fixed; Check out this thread for a list of map bugs. Remember, if you see a map bug while playing, be sure to take a screenshot and post about it.
Code fixes are also in store. You can get all your code change headlines over at the SourceForge project page. Be sure to visit the timeline, view the active bug tickets, and create a new bug ticket (login required) if you see something that needs to be changed.
