Howdy Gamers!
It's your current President and loving founder Drew here, just wanting to get in contact with the club members both new and old! The new quarter is on the horizon and that means a new year of gaming, partying and making friends! This year looks to be huge, which is staggering being that last year set a pretty awesome precedent! SpoKlash! will be back this spring, bigger, better and more EXTREME! That said, we want to cater to more than just our fighting game enthusiasts out there, so we promise to have more tournaments, more variety, and more parties than ever before! This year we are going to ROCK THIS SCHOOL INSIDE OUT!
If you're new to the club, WELCOME! We're glad to have you and can't wait to meet you in person when the new school year starts! There are a few things I would recommend for getting started. First off, we're on Facebook! If you're on the largest social network in the world, please take a moment to join the club here! On the contrary, if you joined through facebook and would like to be on our mailing list, send us an email at sfccgamersclub@gmail.com and we'll be sure to add you! The email is probably the best way to get in contact with us with any issues, suggestions or the like. We're also on Steam, Xfire, and Xbox LIVE! PSN is a little more difficult being that it doesn't share friends of friends the same way LIVE does. Right now we're making the final decisions on what will become our permanent website so we'll keep you posted on that. These are the best ways to get involved and stay in contact with the club!

So now that you're connected to your fellow gamers in almost every way imaginable, we should go over the events for this quarter and year! We already have a few plans in the works, but the ultimately it is our members who decide what we do in a quarter! So here's what's in the works now:
Planning for SpoKLASH! Fighting Game Tournament in Spring quarter
League of Legends SFCC VS SCC Tournament
A Pokemon Tournament
BRAWL League (Super Smash Bros. Brawl)
Quarterly LAN Parties
Holiday Celebrations
Welcome Week and Advertisement
Playthrough Parties
Charity Events
Weekly Meetings
Game Days
That sounds like a lot, I know, but the reality is we can do so much more! That's where you come in! Let us know what you want to do, what you're playing, what's coming out that you might be excited for! Tell us! If you don't feel like sending us an email or message, bring your ideas to the meetings or hang with us in our usual hangout, the Cafeteria! Ideas for new events, suggestions to make current ones better, even games for game days, we want to hear what you want! SO DO IT! This year we want our members to be involved and connected!
Let's work hard to grow the gaming community for both the school and for all of Spokane!
