Hey Guys!

Severe news: RebelSpecialForces.org will be closing down at the end of September. The rest of the clan hardly play anymore, and everyone gets resigned!

This forum will be our new home . That or we figure something else out.
Theres a few options- I'd like to hear what you think.


We could continue being a clan without a site. We never really used the site anyway. Xfire chat works well, or we could mooch off BI's ventrilo.

We could try get a new site up. The RSF first strike server came with a free clan website that I've done nothing with. I'd need help with HTML and so on tho. Or possibly some software.

If it doesn't work we could go join BI sexuals, DS/RT (if there's anyone left) or even ASF
There's lots of other clans that play FS. None of them are RSF tho, so this will be our last resort.


Comments, ideas , brainwaves?

Either we fly under the RSF flag for as long as possible, we forge ahead on our own, or join another clan. The second would give us more options, not exactly in-depth statements here; personally I would prefer to either stick with RSF, or start our own clan.

Either one is going to take a substantial amount of work from everybody. If we stick with First strike, general guideline of two games a week minimum average, and can potentially gain some more recruits, then we should do well enough for a start.

Then we can explore other game ventures from there.

I would also suggest making it mandatory to use/check the forums on a regular basis, they are there to be used!

Monthly check in to see who's about? Shouldn't be too big a deal since a number of us are on semi-regularly. But it would be good to get updates on individuals status so we know they're still alive if we've not seen them on.

I think what we have here at xfire will be fine for the interm and probably as a longer term solution as well. I would also like to stay as RSF as well and since the original is going defunct, is there any reason why we couldn't just pick it up as our own?

Also, I've had some experience with web design in the past, but its probably rudimentary at best and I don't have any software atm for it either. Anything I can do to help out, lmk!

have you ever worked with Google sites? Its a free website maker, you do it all from within your Browser.
Horn and I are stumbling thru that atm.

I've never worked with it before, but I'll take a look at it and see what its like.

Stuff we'd like to do:

Have a place to display medals,Trophies, pins and so forth for each member.Obviously creating each page by hand would be a PITA.

Change the features in the sidebar. If we could edit the HTML somehow we could change the simple text-links into image-links.

how about SMURFING spy hunting down campers that dont have snipe and take down aircrafts with anti air turret (AAT) and like have star wars vechile like the picture where the image in the RSF Angel picture and some times pwn guys who snipe but we pwn with rocket lunch look

Which game are you talking about?

We play Battlefield 2142 and Firststrike mod for 2142. There are lots of starwars vehicles in first strike, just watch this video:
