RP Enforced Graphics Based MMO in Development
I know that I have not been around much lately and I have an announcement to make regarding this. I have given much thought to the plight of the modern RP enthusiast, and I have come to the conclusion that there just isn't a medium focused squarely upon RP'rs.
For this reason I am beginning the starting stages of conceptual design for my own MMO. I am using the Realm Crafter engine, 3d Studio Max 9, Wings 3d, Celtix, and Photoshop CS3. I am aware that this is a monumental task, however I have many friends in several entertainment industries to help me put it together. I am going to be creating 100% original content for this game and will be putting it together to a grand scheme of my own design, so although the structure of the engine is predefined the content and game play will be completely original coupled with it being totally RP driven.
The members of this clan will have first dibs at beta testing when the game is nearing completion. And GMs will be chosen from the RP community for the purpose...

Role Players United was founded at 5:50am PST.
After a thirty minute discussion between the role players on the Govinda server of Runes of Magic it was decided that role players had been relegated to a hiden and secluded life on MMO's for far too long.
It was role players that first envisioned a massively multiplyer environment, even before that role playing games to begin with thus the name of the genre. And so we have decided to take back the lime light and perhaps drive games to the next level of role play interactivity (if we can some how manage it).
We seek only one thing: the ability to RP in public without being harassed, belittled, trolled against, or just plain looked down upon. The community did a great job of recreating the Landroval server of LOTRO into a RP friendly, and even in many cases encouraged, environment.
It is my solemn wish to see that kind of an environment become the norm accross all games and possibly even all servers. There are...
