Bubbling Under - FM09, Fallout 3 & More
Been a while since this little channel has been used - not much movement in the gaming stakes this Winter and Spring, but since the fetid Summer is approaching that will probably change!
Time to highlight some games that haven't made the PXT Top 10 (yet) and those that might in the near future. Two current candidates are the latest incarnation of Football Manager, which hasn't yet hit the heights of the previous 3 versions all of which are Top 10 already. Slightly outdistancing FM09 at the moment is Fallout 3, possibly due another burst as the new DLC becomes available on PC.
Of the future games, a likely candidate is Battlefield Heroes. If you can stand EA's labyrinthine sign-up process, it's basically a free version of Team Fortress 2 with bells on. Staying with EA, there's the potential monolith that is The Sims 3 to contend with(!). Further afield, hopes are high for Star Wars: The Old Republic but that's a year away at least.

The day of crucifying has returned once more. I intend to spend at least some of it shooting things (trying to get the last Heavy and Medic upgrade weapons in TF2) and maybe even having a shot at the Merrymaker title in WoW. However you're spending the day, and the rest of the holiday season, have a good one!

WAR - 500 up!
The Warhammer juggernaut has smashed through the PXT All-Time Top 10 and has today ranked up it's 500th hour of recorded play - there was more, but Xfire seems to be borked on several team members machines. At current speed, Guild Wars will be overhauled by Xmas!! The big question is will anyone see Tier 4, or will we keep re-rolling characters until the Blackguard and Blazing Sun classes reappear in Patch 1.1?!

Last One Alive Lock The Door!
That was fun - Turbo set up a Team Fortress 2 server, and we had a 2v2 match going on. It then started to attract other attention (hey Evil), and I'm sure that Joe will eventually stop headshotting us and trying some of the other weapons :O

Here's A Thing...
With the return of Krungar The Pretty, and Troytempest back in the fray and levelling, we have enough players to run our own Karazhan raid one day...!
But first, many of the lower levels have to take advantage of Outland's many dungeons - and then maybe PvP. Oh, and we'll need another healer!

A Busy Week
Let's see - we've had 2 runs of Blackrock Depths, 2 of Stratholme, 3 new characters into Outland, and the team has expanded to 34 members!! A marathon FIFTEEN-hour session (in shifts, I hasten to add) got a lot of stuff done. And it's not over yet - there's a Ramparts run tomorrow!

Another Seventy - It's Alten!
Yes indeed, overcoming the numerous difficulties which have befallen her. Not least of which is being beamed into space and back every time she wants to loot something. But our top-line mage finally hit the big 7-0 atop the Stormspire this evening. Kudos!

A PXT First - Full 5-Man Dungeon Crawl
Earlier this evening we managed to get 5 PXT members in the same dungeon at once! Bainrock led Marsellus, Muldavia, recent returnee Inbram and our newest recruit Iidun through the Temple of Atal'Hakkar. And they only died once! Could it be the team is actually getting somewheres?!

The Crawl Of The Dungeon
As our top characters are getting a bit more, shall we say, 'hard', we're looking to do more instance runs and perhaps even raiding in the next wee while. Current targets are places like Hellfire Ramparts, Stratholme and the Scholomance for the advanced characters. For the level 40's, Uldaman, Maraudon and Zul'Farrak would be the list. Get in touch and I can give you pointers on picking up quests to make these runs worthwhile!
