Warhammer Online here I come
I've been trying out Warhammer Online for the last week and a half and I've decided it's pretty cool so far. It's completely PvP oriented, with the bulk of the game play centered around RvR (realm vs. Realm).
Different than the short frenzied PvP bouts in GW, larger and more tactical I think (so far). This is the first game that I've ever liked PvP right out of the box.
If any of you guys want to try it, let me know I can get you a buddy key beginning the 17th of January.

Finally updated my rig for the first time in oh, five years or so (not including a cheapie card two years back). And all I can say is... wow.
It's a whole different game now. Never realized just how much processing I was handing off to the CPU. Modern data bus architecture has grown so much faster than in the past that, having been out of the loop, I had no idea what I was missing. Which, I suppose, was for the best.
Anyway, for under $500, I now have a widescreen HD monitor and a smoookin' hot nVidia 9800 GTX+. Gosh, one might think I was a gamer nerd.

Looks like TR finally died. It's a shame really, the concept was a good one and the game had lots of potential.

Live Broadcasting With Xfire
So if you want people to watch what you're doing real time, Xfire now has a live broadcast feature that will create a chat room and play a live video of what you're doing in game. This could be useful to show someone how you're doing a particularly hard area or to demonstrate a build.
