Paradox Interactive are proud to announce that their internally developed game Sengoku, a Strategy RPG title for the PC set in Feudal Japan, has released today.
Sengoku is created by the development team that created the Europa Universalis series, the Hearts of Iron Series and the Victoria series.
In this deep character driven strategy game, you play as the head of an illustrious family. War has broken out, the authority has collapsed and it is every man for himself in the provinces. Honour and duty vie with survival in the delicate dance of power, conquest and betrayal as you attempt to unite the land of the Rising Sun under your iron fist.
Use your military might, your smooth talking tongue, and your guile to increase your power. Send your powerful samurai armies into battle against your enemies, and unleash shadowy Ninja clans under the cover of...

There were so many good questions that we figured that we should give you your answers in an "Ask Paradox Anything" video featuring none other than our CEO Fredrik Wester and Producer Shams Jorjani. Will there be an expansion for Victoria II? Is Vlad a vampire? What is love? Yes, basically everything is covered in this one-of-a-kind video.

Victoria II Patch 1.3 Released!
Paradox Interactive today announced the release of a new patch for Victoria II that brings numerous improvements to the acclaimed grand strategy game.
Major features of patch 1.3 include:
- Improved AI for economy and military matters
- Economy system rebalanced, with support for proper free-market adaption
- New system for how gun boat diplomacy and bankruptcies work
- Socialists can now back political reforms and Liberals can do social reforms (though each less than the other)
- Pop promotion and assimilation have received a major overhaul
- Artillery is now a more useful unit, and mobilization does not punish sparsely populated countries as much
- Many bug fixes, game balance tweaks and interface improvements
The patch is now available for all Victoria II owners though the game launcher and on all leading digital distribution platforms.
