Volume II of the 2007 PC Game of the Year Expected to Arrive at Retail This Fall

Book 12 Downloadable Updater Now Available
The downloadable patch for Book 12 is now available! This patch will update clients from Book 11 to Book 12. New players will still need to go through the normal patching process - this patch will only work for those whose clients are current as of today (February 11). It will not work for Roheryn.
The downloadable patch means you can download it and patch your client before the update goes live on the servers, saving you time when they come back up. It also means you can download the patch on a computer that you don't have LOTRO installed on (i.e. your work computer), transfer the patch to a disk or device, and then run it on the computer with a LOTRO client to update it. After you've updated your client, when the servers go live with Book 12 your client will apply the patch and update itself.
The downloadable patch is approximately ~600mb.
We are currently offering the download as a .torrent or a direct download. Turbine recommends µTorrent to download the patch; you can find more information on...

Among the many items featured in Book 12 are a revamp of the Angmar region, updates to the Burglar, Champion, and Guardian classes, improvements and additions to the Reputation system, social clothing, a new cosmetic inventory system, barber-shops (and new hairstyles to go with them), and the introduction of The Delving of Frór! Read on for details on all this and more!

Turbine has announced that Guardians will be getting some serious love:
The Month of the Guardian is here! Guardians are receiving attention to both their primary tanking role and secondary damage-per-second role. We hope you'll enjoy these changes and the new depth they bring to the role of the Guardian.
Already the hardiest class in Middle-earth, the Guardian is able to withstand relentless onslaughts. Capable of maintaining a high level of threat generation, only the foolish and overly aggressive dare try to outpace them. Where this class is weakest is the ability to actually kill their foes.
