Taking the chance to do some advertising here. For those of you still playing JKA 1.00, there's a duel server up at basemnet.no-ip.org, which isn't showing up on the serverlist for whatever reason. Check it out if you're interested.

IRC Channel - #jka1.00 @ QuakeNet
Greetings gentlemen. I'd like to inform you about the new 1.00 IRC channel. This channel will help you find TFFA's, mix matches or just people to talk with.
If you're interested and want to help the channel, join it at #jka1.00 on quakenet. If you haven't used an IRC client before I'll explain how to now, it's very simple.
First, you'll need a client. Two popular ones are mIRC (http://www.mirc.com/) and XChat (http://xchat.org/). Either does the job just fine.
When you've downloaded one of those, connect to the quakenet network either from a list, or type "/server de.quakenet.org" straight into the chat field to connect to it.
Once you're on the network you can join the channel by typing "/join #jka1.00" without the quotes, of course. That's it!
This could prove really useful for 1.00 players, so let's make the best of it.
