Yes we can! The Modern Warfare Xfire Community has just hit the 666th membercount at this very moment !!! A number which, however, makes me feel very good, especially when I am remembering last saturday, when the counter jumped over the 500 border ! Speaking about special numbers, did you know that Activision sold 4.7 million units of Modern Warfare 2 in the Us and the Uk together only on the day it was released ? Unbelievlable ! But dont forget about the little people; They are players with deep passion for the game who provide the best advertise for it. Quality speaks for itself, and it looks like the same thought came to our community member Blazzing who started to broadcast most of the singleplayer campaign and even more multiplayer matches right after the Xfire support for Modern Warfare 2 was integrated. The result was a crystal clear, sharp, and action packed broadcast, (yes it had sound !) and this over several hours, giving many of the Xfire Website visitors the chance to have a more detailed...

So here it finally is, that specific date many of us have been waiting for over a year now: November 10th, 2009 !!! Worldwide, the malls have been filled up to the ceiling with Modern Warfare 2 versions for PS3, Xbox 360 and PC, and the digital storages are ready to deliver the preordered download version of the game, too. Sadly, the Dl version won't be unlocked for a couple days. This means, the downloaders are the lucky ones to get even more prepared (mental and physical) before following the new "Call of Duty" !!!
If you are among the ones that still haven't preordered Modern Warfare 2 yet, but would like to, you maybe want to take a look at the Xfire Game Store. The game can be preordered there or directly bought starting from November, 12th.

Exactly 2 years ago, Infinity Ward released their blockbuster gamehit Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare. I think this is a good moment to quote Wikipedia:
"Critically acclaimed, the game received an aggregated score of 94% from both Game Rankings and Metacritic. The gameplay, multiplayer, and story received particular praise, while criticism targeted what was perceived as an inability to innovate the first-person shooter genre. The game won numerous awards from gaming websites, including IGN's Best Xbox 360 Game. It was the top-selling game worldwide for 2007, reaching over seven million copies by January 2008, and over 13 million by May 2009"
It seems Infinity Ward thought the best way to celebrate this special anniversary today is to release an awesome Official Modern Warfare 2 Launch Trailer to the public. Picking a song of Eminem as anniversary anthem isn't a bad choice either. Let the music play !
