Also with this mutation update some Russian localization texts were fixed.

Featuring Community Campaigns
Valve has started offering community campaigns on their official Left 4 Dead 2 hosted servers, featuring one community campaign for two weeks and changing then to next one.

The first such campaign, already on 120 official servers, is 2 evil eyes.

Week 16 is the Gib Fest time!
Next batch of mutations for Left 4 Dead 2 begun a while ago, starting with Gib Fest: automated M60 machine guns with unlimited ammo for every survivor. Time to get messy!

Oh, and it seems like if one needs to go alone in a zombie apocalypse and only take one thing along, most people would choose Zoey being that one thing. As if you'd have a chance. But then there are 2% of people who would take a defib unit. The people over at Valve wonder what exactly would you do with it? Since you are not alone, no one would be resurrecting you with it. Or would you try to find another dead survivor on your quest to try to bring back life? Good luck on that!


I am still here posting L4D related news such that along with this mutation the game also got some localization fixes. So I have survived the Xfire Apocalypse so far.
