Come out and play
You're out at on a moonless night...really dark... in a field that seems like the middle of nowhere. So far from any lights that the moon looks close. You hear frogs croaking and crickets chirping. And you smell something sweet. In the corner of your eye you see something dark like a shadow moves behind you, but nothing is there. You are sure it was a man, but there is nothing there.
Wait! Something's running through the brush...you can hear it. What was that?! You think you saw something fly by...or did you? A wolf howls. You turn to look behind you. But, you can't see anything. Ok, well... maybe it's time to go home anyway...fast.
What is it about the night and its creatures that makes us want to go inside and turn on the lights? Who and what's out there? And why aren't we? Or are we?
