New Awakening was founded by OneShot and WhisperBlade in hopes that it would create a friendly gaming community for gamers worldwide. Gone would be extreme competition, skill-based membership, and prejudicial leadership. Instead, New Awakening sought out to be democratic; a place where members' voices can be heard, and where their opinions could count. Though the ideas weren't revolutionary, the ideas were definitely widely accepted. In Clan New Awakening, fun is where it starts. Competition is available for those who wish to do so, however, and never forced upon members of the clan. Clan New Awakening was formed as a social gaming group, is still a social gaming group, and will be a social gaming group. After all, games were made to be played for fun, and that's what Clan New Awakening is about.
