New info CONFIRMED about Bad Company 2.

* Maxplayers for PC: 32
o At least 8 multiplayer maps will be available. Gordon: “We want to try to put as many maps into the game till release date.”
* There will be four multiplayer modes:

- Conquest (from Battlefield 1942).
- Two unrevealed squad-based modes for teams consisting of four soliders.
- Rush which is an advanced version of the mode Gold Rush from BC (part one). In this mode, one team has to destroy a pair of containers or boxes. The other team has to defend them. Each time one pair gets destroyed another part of the map opens up for the players and the action moves away. The defenders win as soon as the attackers have no more respawns

* 1 primary and 1 secondary weapon, 2 devices.
* 46 weapons with 200 variations
* 15 different devices
* 13 perks. For example: More ammo, ammo with more lethality, more health....etc.
* Some perks can even improve...

Still unsatisfied?
Most of us are still fed up and are done with mw2. I would like to inform you all that PCGU will still keep you up to date on mw2 info, but not as much as before. Our main focus is now going to shift to updates for other games.

So now I will take some time to show you two games that we will largely cover over the next months.

--Battlefield Bad Company Two
--Medal of Honor

Both titles take place in the middle east. As release dates go, BF:BC2 is in march and an open PC beta is coming in January. Dedis will be in the game.

Medal of Honor is set for a release in Fall of 2010. Dedis are not confirmed.

mw2 already losing hype in the PC community?
Well when you think about it, there was no real hype to begin with. But this is a major upset in iw's franchise. When you look back. CoD1, CoD2, and CoD4 have all reached the top spot on the most played PC games. But not mw2, which should be a large LARGE warning for iw. They obviously did something wrong with this game, *cough* no dedis *cough* and with Bad Company approaching there is no telling how fast mw2 is going to get buried into the "average games" pile. Other promising titles that I believe have also shifted attention from mw2 include: L4D2, Borderlands, and the most recent of the newest medal of honor PC game.

So PCGU members, what do you think? Post a comment. Does mw2 deserve to get tossed away so quickly? Does iw need to be concerned about their future?
