Maingear used to be a competitive professional CEVO-P team and lan team and had members go into the CGS before the CGS died.

The Maingear Admins are strongly encouraged to play on servers in order to ensure a smooth, lag-free environment as well as monitor it for cheaters and other abusers alike. Maingear community is where you can engage in team work with tactics and strategies with other members of the community.
