LGC is shutting down

LGC is now shut down permanently, for a number of reasons. Main one being that the majority of the core staff will be leaving within the next couple of months. sP0ng3 is quitting Combat Arms, I'm leaving at the end of the month, Enlighten is moving to Europe soon. sP0ng3 would have left the site to me, but since I'm leaving also, he didn't really know who he could trust to run the LGC the way it was originally intended. Therefore the shutdown. The Ventrilo server will expire in the next couple of days, and the domain will be gone by the end of the month.
I realize this is kind of really abrupt, and I apologize for it. sP0ng3 had talked about shutting down a couple of times, but I didn't realize he meant so soon. The LGC was pretty much the cornerstone of the competitive Combat Arms community, so it leaves kind of a void, and it'll be interesting to see what fills it. Vertu is working on something, and we'll see how that...
