How to Get 2 Diff Versions Of Cod4 :
A: Each version of cod4 you have installed takes up about 6.5 Gigs hard drive space, so make sure you have enough space before you start.
For example lets say you want to have both version 1.0 and 1.7. First you need version 1.0 installed. before you start messing with files make sure you have a backup of your profiles folder located in C:\Program Files\Activision\Call of Duty 4 - Modern Warfare\Call of Duty 4 - Modern Warfare\players
Then copy the folder named Call of Duty 4 - Modern Warfare located in C:\Program Files\Activision. Then rename the folder to something like Call of Duty 4 - Modern Warfare-1.0. Then paste the folder into the same directory.
Run the updater and after its done rename Call of Duty 4 - Modern Warfare located in C:\Program Files\Activision to Call of Duty 4 - Modern Warfare-1.7.
If you had shortcuts on your desktop they will no longer work so delete them and remake them. The application files are located in C:\Program Files\Activision\Call of Duty 4 - Modern...
