A city too long cloaked in fear,
began to tear itself in two,
the fearful lies its people lived,
become the only truth they knew.
The streets erupting with the pleas,
from weak and weary innocents,
the darkness spitting forth its bile,
corruption seeking punishment.
And long and true a light was shined,
that tore the veil corruption cast,
it ripped away the darkness from,
the Scales of Justice, shown at last.
Of righteous might and strength to arms,
from burning bite to bitter cold,
the call was given at the scales,
for capes be donned of black and gold.
In service to the Justice Force,
to heroes that would rise and fall,
for sake of gratitude, righteousness,
the city would remember all.
A warning now for all to know,
for those embraced in dark and wrong,
your time in Paragon nears its end,
Forever for, Justice lives on!
