Geomancer is finally here!
After months of waiting, the second community created hero, the Geomancer, is finally here! Designed by community members Phopis and Chibbi, the Geomancer is a mobile, subterranean hero with strong team-fighting and ganking abilities.
With Dig, he's able to quickly tunnel through the ground, charging through the earth and bursting out at the desired location to disrupt nearby enemies. His control of the earth also affords him the ability to create pits of quicksand at will – the more his enemies struggle, the further they sink into the sand. Earth's Grasp lets him call down an inverted artillery strike of sorts, creating a trailing path of earthy explosions that can tear apart immobile opponents.
Finally, he can create a Crystal Field, encasing enemies in amethyst shards after a short delay. Geomancer is set to release this coming Friday!

HoN Video Competition Winners
The time has come to announce the winners of the HoN Video Competition. We want to thank everyone for taking the time to record, upload, and vote. While there were many quality videos, we were forced to choose just one. So without further ado, the S2 Staff pick for best video goes to: Galbenlol. We felt that Galbenlol’s video showed some truly epic gameplay and the skill of the players in the game left some of us feeling envious.
The winner of the Most “Cool” Video category is: Naliz ♥♪♥ ツ. The creative idea to use Kongor to own two opponents entertained enough people to earn Naliz over 75 cool votes and the title of Most “Cool” Video.

AGASA Supporting HoN
AGASA, the largest online league in South Africa, has announced they will be supporting HoN by hosting a competition in the Q1 2010. Registrations will open in January.

Video Competition
Hey Heroes of Newerth fans! Lately, those of us at S2 Games have been enjoying the videos from our community that are popping up on our Xfire page. However, we want more and we want them to be even better! To show our appreciation, we will be rewarding free full accounts to five cinematographers. One account will be given for the video with the most “Cools” (determined by the community), one account will be for the favorite video of the S2 Staff, and three will be rewarded to three random video creators.
For your chance to win, you will need to download Xfire and launch it before starting up HoN. Then you will have to join the Official Heroes of Newerth Community on Xfire, which you can do by clicking here: http://www.xfire.com/communities/heroesofficial/apply/ . Finally, you will need to start recording videos of your gameplay. Once you have your favorite video, upload it to the video section of the Community with the title “HoN Video Competition: (Video Title).” Only one entry per person!
Everyone who takes a video has a chance to win! Don’t forget to check out all of the videos and vote for your favorite.
