The new GT Club Public Chat is up

Ask me for an invite to the chat room when we're both on Xfire and you can go in and save it like I am above. That way, you can check the chat periodically, or enter it when no one is in there, and invite people!
You can check your saved chats and the number of people in them like below:

Again, if no one is in, go ahead and invite some friends? I'm going to start putting up game nights, activities, and contests!
The chat is totally optional. It's simply for anyone who wants to talk via text or voice chat to fellow gamers! I assume it will become very popular when AION and SWTOR come out. MMO gamers love being in voice chat rooms
Anyway, this will go up in the club news as well! See you guys on/in/at the battlefield/tavern/race track/whatever else you do in your spare time.

If you have any friends who know very well what Gametrailers.com is, invite them! We've got plenty of room for more friends, and while this is the GT Xfire Club, it's not for extremely active GT members only.

I know Steam is very popular because of it's gaming service but Xfire has numerous things Steam doesn't have, like Screenshot capture and archives, video capture and archives, and LIVE Broadcasting! That said, it can't hurt to use both. Steam and Xfire aren't processor hogs, and they both offer unique and fantastic services.
