FS World Cup Announcement
Ladies and gentlemen, it is with great pleasure that I can announce the FS World Cup PMC Tournament!
Do not be fooled by the name, this is not an event solely for existing PMCs, but the name is needed to distinguish this from the other two World Cup events which will be taking place over the next couple of months.
For those of you who have taken part in a World Cup event before, this will be similar, but with a few significant changes, so make sure you read all of the details below.

Well, you’ll need a team first. Unlike previous World Cup events where players have signed up as individuals and then been placed into a team, things will be working differently this time around.
You will need to join together with a group of your countrymen and submit a squad. You can either group together as a nation and choose the best candidates for a team or you can play off against other aspiring players from your country for the right to represent your home nation. More...

Tournament System Test
There will be a test tournament taking place at 7:30pm BST this evening (6:30 in game time).
This will be a 7 a side event giving PMCs the chance to test out the tournament system and Derby mode.
As mentioned elsewhere, this is not a test of gameplay changes, as there are some changes on the test world which are not yet complete.
If you wish to enter your team to take part in this event then you can sign up here: http://footballsuperstars.com/tournament/ and click on Learn More. Please note that you can only sign up your team if you are ranked as Coach or Manager.
Test World
This will be taking place on the FS Test World. If you have not already downloaded the test world client then you can do so here: http://footballsuperstars.com/test_world/ You will need to download the client, so please ensure you leave plenty of time to do this ahead of the event starting.
Even if you do already have the client installed, you will need to allow time to patch.
Be aware that your character on...

From May 6th to June 6th, Xfire and Cybersports will once more be teaming up to launch the second "Live Your Dreams" Play 2 Win event, this time in celebration of the upcoming World Cup. All of this is in anticipation of the world’s greatest football event – The FIFA World Cup, hosted this year in South Africa, running between the 11th June and the 11th July. After much anticipation, I am happy to announce the return of the FS World Cup! All those who took part at the last event in September can attest to how much fun this event was, and I look forward to seeing some new faces.
Please see below for details of the FS World Cup. These rules are subject to change. Any changes made will be communicated via a new post on the FS Forums.
Characters
To make things more interesting, everyone taking part will be playing with the same levels. As such, you will need to create an alt character and give that name when you sign up. You can use a character that has seen play in previous lvl 2 events, but the following rules must still apply. If you are using a character from the previous world cup then you must declare it when you sign up.
Max level of character is 2 (in case you already have a lowbie rolled)
-No boots: No boots are allowed to be worn. As such, there is no need for the alt characters to even have boots.

Yep, its that time again folks. Time to break out your animal suits and indulge in your ferral side. It's time to gather your furry (or scaley) comrades and prepare to battle it out to be king of the beasts.

This will be a weekend event covering the weekend of Saturday 14th and Sunday 15th November.
Teams
Provided enough squad enter there will be 14 teams with a team representing every one of the FS animals.
Format
5 20 KA league each team to play each other twice.
2 points for a win 1 point for a draw.
Yes that's right. No 3 points for a win this time around as this ensures interest doesnt wane if you suffer a couple of defeats as any lead can be easily clawed back. Lol. Clawed. Like animal claws. Lol.

FS League of Champions Event
In an effort to foster up and coming talent, the FSA, the governing body of the Football Superstars world, has established a number team for specific use within a brand new competition in order to drive the superstars of tomorrow. As such, this month you can expect to see the launch of the first ever FS League of Champions.
How does this work? Let me enlighten you...
Format
The whole point of this competition is to get people playing football. As such this will be a league format competition. The exact format will be dependent on the number of sign ups. In the days leading up to the event we will determine the number of teams, the size of the teams and the length of the matches based on the number of people entering the event. This will enable us to make sure that everyone who signs up will be able to play.

Football Superstars has team up with legendary football magazine FourFourTwo to bring you the FourFourTwo League.
The event kicks off in two weeks and will be the premier PMC event of the year, with awesome prizes on offer.

Ladies and Gentlemen, next week's FTW is taking on a disctinctly international feel. In anticipation of next year's world cup, we will be hosting our very own FTW themed world cup.
I give to you..... WORLD CUP WEDNESDAY!!!!
The premise is simple. You sign up by posting here, giving your real country of origin, and you will be assigned to an international team relative to your real world location. The teams will then play in a mini league for the night, with everyone walking away with some FSB in their pocket!
We will be assigning players to act as coaches for the night to help ensure its smooth running.
Characters
To make things more interesting, everyone taking part will be playing with the same levels. As such, you will need to create an alt character and give that name when you sign up. We will be adjusting the levels of these characters so that they are 15 across the board. This means you won't be playing as level 1 sluggards, but nor will there be any stat fiends on the pitch. ...
