3.6.12 RC1 is out
It's that time of the year again. The SCP has released the release candidate of the next version of FS2_Open. Get it while it's hot, and don't forget to report any oddities you see while using it.

*No, I did not forget to newsify 3.6.11. The SCP decided that, starting with this release, uneven version numbers indicate a development (unstable) build, while even Numbers indicate a stable build.

FS2NetD is (mostly) back
The FS2NetD service is working again. No need for direct IP games anymore. However, stat saving is still buggy; Right now they won't save whether you play with or without mediavps (Even if the game tells you that stats were saved).

If you want to arrange games, check the Multiplayer board on HLP or join #hard-light on irc.esper.net.

In recent weeks I've noticed that we seem to be getting more and more people for this community. I'm curious, how did you find this game? How often do you play it? How interested are you in FSO multiplayer?
