Hello and Welcome to the official Xfire group of www.FarCry2Fans.com
We're a pack of members who are playing for fun with each other, and if you want we could perhaps scramble a team for a small PCW.
We're International and we don't care what your age is or how skilled you are - you're Welcome. Being able to communicate in English is critical though, at least enough for simple conversations.
In order to apply for the group you must first make an account at www.farcry2fans.com and send "Theman550" a PM with your username, and I'll add you as soon as I can. More info in the "General Discussion" section of farcry2fan's forum. Questions are welcome and can be send as PM to me or posted in the forum. Keep it to the xfire topic though.

Is the group alive?
Barely I'd say.
I still communicate with some of the oldies, but none of us play the game any more. We all await to see what the new patch will bring, and if it doesn't deliver anything decent we'll probably just give it all up. It's a shame it came out like this, it looked so promising : (
What's up with all of you who doesn't come online any more? Did you just leave the group without saying good bye? Of course, you have the full right to do so. Kinda rude though, I've been waiting for some of you for a long time now :-X

I guess you've noticed that the group's been quite slow lately. Reason is simple; very many in the group can't play FC2 MP an hour without a crash or something odd. That includes me :/
We still have a nice chat quite often and if you go online some members surely have a map or two you can test for them
If that's none of your interest, this'll surely give a laugh

You can of course play with one or two of the members on your own as well.
As soon as we get a(nother) patch and more members can access the MP part the group will become more active as well.

Far Cry 2 released!
Far Cry 2 has now been released in most parts of the world (UK not included, and some members have already gotten the chance to try it out at home (Congratulations to you!
Far Cry 2 has been added to the Game list
An event has been planned for next Saturday, so no, you can't go to your aunt this week.
Make sure to join!
(Information about server etc will be released once I get a chance to play the game myself...tomorrow with other words).
EDIT: Added an event THIS Saturday as well.
Probably quite optimistic, but at least those who've already gotten the chance can join.
