Account Lockdown Information
During Monday evening several Entropia Universe accounts where locked. This is Standard Operating Procedure when Mindark's Monitoring Team encounters suspect transactions within the Entropia Universe system. A problem was discovered with a payment provider, Paynova, whose service Mindark uses to allow PED deposits into Entropia Universe.
A glitch in Paynova's software allowed for the deposit of PED without the corresponding amount in real funds being credited. A few former Entropia Universe participants exploited this glitch and got hold of illegal PED. As soon as the situation was verified, logs and transaction records were quickly analyzed using advanced tools developed by MindArk for this purpose, and the initial exploiters' accounts where locked, as well as those that had any association with the illegal PED. - Insert implants currently not working.
- Items placed for sale at the auction are displayed at random positions.
- Icon mapping lost when the item is moved in the inventory.
- Items in Loot UI cannot be moved.
- Construction will give you an incorrect "could not execute" message in the chat. This does not affect the action though.
- Lockup Skills keep unlocking every time you relog.
- Storage Boxes show incorrect weight BP books do not update immediately when filled with blueprints.

Increased Creature Diversity
Increased Creature Diversity
For a long time, creatures in Entropia Universe have been created from a generic template. To realize the original Calypso vision of creature diversity and distinctiveness, we have in VU 9.2 and the upcoming VU 9.3 rebalanced certain creatures' characteristics (meaning that certain characteristics have been increased, while others have been decreased). These adjustments have added a further dimension to determining the behavior, traits and threat level of creatures.
Loots have naturally been adjusted to reflect the new characteristics.

As part of the Customer Support Dept.'s development we have employed new staff to help us achieving our goal of 24/7 support. As many have surely noticed, the response time has greatly improved and we are very pleased with the results of this effort. Naturally it takes time to learn a new job, and along the way misunderstandings can occur in the handling of certain cases. This is regrettable, but human. I am personally very keen that every customer should feel professionally received via support.
If you feel that a case has not been handled in a satisfactory manner (and the case does not concern InWorld balancing or loot distribution which we are not mandating to discuss), you are welcome to address me directly by sending an email to entropia_support@mindark.com, providing the support case's number and my name in the subject field. I will then personally investigate the case and its handling and determine whether it is necessary to review the case.
