1.542 Beta
1.542 beta brings major upgrades to DS, with graphics updates and hopefully some De-sync issues being fixed, this will hopefully make ds a more fun for us who are getting tired of of those unfair calls made by the server.

Click the update button for beta and test these new features now so the devs can fix problems before they go to release.

Darkspace Wars Signups Closing
Thats right, Thursday 10/15/2010 is the last day to sign up for your spot in the bracket. This saturday at 2:00 PM Central GMT -6 the first bracket will start. After that on the 18th at the same time will be the second bracket and final battle.

The prize pool currently is at 125500 credits. So I'm pretty sure you don't want to miss out on this event, I know I don't want to.

DSN Goes Live!
DSN is going live to the general DarkSpace community today at 9:00 am cst (-6 GMT).

Encourage everyone to get on board. The more we have involved the more successful DSN will be.

We will try to begin scheduling events within the next week, so look for updates to the event calendar soon.

Also, look for a new Fleet Officer's Meeting to be scheduled. It will be announced via the Event Calendar as well.

Get all your friends to get on and try out the site and XFire as a community. Lets do our best to tie the community closer together.

The following is a list of positions available for anyone willing to volunteer their time.

At this time, I am unsure whether this will be a bi-monthly or monthly news edition.

3. Current events Reporter- Willing to file bi-weekly reports for lead stories on the overall movement of the MV servers.

5. Tech Columnist -requires knowledge on gadgets, and devices, ships and the factions in general to write a bi-monthly or monthly article offering advice in these areas.
