DFL is, first and foremost, a group of friends dedicated to FPS gaming competition. Formed in 2001 DFL made a name for itself in the Novalogic community playing and competing in such games as Land Warrior, Black Hawk Down, Team Sabre, Task Force Dagger, and finally Joint Operations before becoming active in the EA community with Battlefield 2 in 2005.
