Happy holidays and happy New Years to all! This year has sucked, mostly. Among a small handful of positive things, I finally got my degree in Network Security. w00t!
Team Fortress 2 is continuing to be very awesome. The Soldier & Demoman update just dropped, and it's a good one. It adds a sword and shield to the Demoman, and a super-fast precision rocket launcher to the Soldier, to name a few things. It has added a huge new layer to the game. I would highly recommend getting this, if you haven't yet.
Left 4 Dead 2 is a great game too. Also highly recommended. New classes include the: Spitter, Jockey, Charger. There is also a Wandering Witch to deal with. One campaign features heavy rain and gale force winds. It feels like you're fighting in a hurricane. Voice chat gets choppy at times if you are too far from your team during heavy wind, making for a very realistic effect.

Oktoberfest!
What? Yea, I know it's November. But, did you know that the REAL Oktoberfest IS in November?
Left 4 Dead 2 drops on November 17th. I'm very hyped up for it. If it's as good as the first one or better, it we be phenomenal. L4D2 promises new special infected, new weapons, melee weapons, new characters, and new maps. This time, the survivors are fighting their way from Atlanta to New Orleans. It should be a blast. On my list of games I want, this one is without a doubt #1 MUST HAVE.
Borderlands dropped a couple of weeks ago. Think of an FPS game mixed with an RPG game. The user interface is complete garbage, undoubtedly because the PC version of this game was an afterthought. But, if you are willing to get into the program files and do some minor tweaking, you can get it to do what you want it to do. We have all the commands! DPC is back in action, baby! So far we have me, Jammer, Burrito, and Cleric playing. The game only supports 4 players at once, but the chances of all 4 of us...

Happy Independence Day, everybody! In case you've been sleeping, Left for Dead 2 has been announced and should drop this November. It's gonna be awesome. The new Spy/Sniper class update is out for Team Fortress 2 along with a new type of map called the Payload Race. There are some new arena maps too. All very fun.
I've been playing Red Faction: Guerrilla on the Xbox. Fun ass game right there. Think of a Grand Theft Auto on Mars with fully destructible environments.
I've been playing a lot of Rock Band 2 on Friday nights. IMO, it has beaten Guitar Hero. I'm actually starting to get pretty good at the drums (Which keep breaking! Shitty quality!).
Valve released material to create maps in L4D. So far I've played some great custom maps including a Legend of Zelda map. You get to fight through a dungeon and fight a boss!
