Darkest Hour is a modification for Red Orchestra. It will focus on the Normandy campaign in 1944. It will not only cover the Normandy landings and airborne drops of the 6th June 1944 but will also include the epic large scale armoured battles characteristic of the later stages of the campaign.

We will focus predominantly on realism and don't believe in balancing maps when it bears too heavily on realism. Also political correctness will not effect our portrayal of realism, so we'll have all the correct insignia and uniforms for those military buffs out there. This will not be just another World War Two game. We are going to try some new things that everyone else was probably too scared to try and we'll see how we get on, more on those things later.
