As I'm sure you all know by now, Modern Warfare 2 has been put in the firing line this week, when a shocking and disappointing interview from 'BASHandSlash' was released onto the web in the form of a Webcast.
Although some initial thoughts about the shocking headlines were that they were simply 'Halloween Pranks & Jokes', sadly this was not the case. Jock Yitch from 'BASHandSlash' confirmed that the following statements were true:

- Infinity Ward partnering through Steam is what you will see in the future. Matchmaking is not through Steam, but IW.NET is run in conjunction with Steam.
- GSP's will no longer be renting out servers.
- No PunkBuster. VAC will be used as an anti cheat.
- No more clan servers. Private matches, replace clan servers.
- IW.NET/Steam will replace the community server admin.
- Modding the game is now very much in question. Fourzerotwo had no info on modding. However, it appears that...

Here's a little info about the following. This is a copy of a letter/post I write to Infinity Ward on behalf of myself and all other members of the public who feel the same about the following issues and comments.
Hello Infinity Ward, please take your time while reading this as I really wouldn't want to overload your small sh*t smeared brains with what I think about your company and your sh*tty f*cking ideas. So please, take your time and try not to drool too much on your keyboard.
Firstly, congrats with MW2 you've done a spot on job of continuing the great CoD Series. There are 1 or 2 slight issues which you could maybe sort out at a later date, but please dont rush your selves, I want you all to enjoy your 6 month long holidays you'll be paying for with the money from the sales of those sh*tty console copies of your 'fantastic' new game.

We feel very strongly about the huge fucking mistakes Infinity Ward have made putting this game together, and we want to make sure that everyone is doing there part to make sure Infinity Ward know how we feel about the shit they're turning this potentially great game into.
-Several Attempts to create huge online petitions within the 'Infinity Ward' Site.
-Huge amounts of spam threads and posts on the 'Infinity Ward' Site.
-'X-Fire' communities popping up all over the net packed with 'Modern Warfare 2' haters.

Over the last 24 hrs, we've been incredibly busy, working into the early hours of the morning making sure everyone knows about our community and the fantastic petitions going round.
We feel very strongly about the huge fucking mistakes Infinity Ward have made putting this game together, and we want to make sure that everyone is doing there part to make sure Infinity Ward know how we feel about the shit they're turning this potentially great game into.
