How to Setup PAM4 Scorebot
I've seen this in a few forums but I suppose "the more the merrier?"
The PAM4 scorebot allows people to view the current player scores and side scores when running the PAM4 server mod. To enable it, add the following lines into your CoD4 server config. Be certain to copy it exactly into the config and then either reboot your server or exec your updated config via RCON.
Now people can use the "Display Raw Server Info" in xfire to monitor the DVARs during a match. Those DVARs will tell info such as Last Round results, each team's score, PAM Mode, and PAM Version (because knowing the PAM version is just so awesome).
The scorebot will help those teams that are waiting for match results to see who's ahead and give some idea of the time...

Pick-up Game - General Info
A pick-up game (PUG) is basically where people who are sitting around not doing anything can get together and play a game. It's not quite like a pub server since players are picked by two captains and play under certain rules (such as TWL, OGL, etc.). Once you play a few PUGs you'll see it's really not that complicated - just try it and you might like it.
The rules may vary but tend to go like:
1) Someone wants to play but only has a couple of friends on xfire. They start looking down their lists and finally get enough people to say "sure i'll play."
2) When people get in the server, they just auto-assign. When the right number of people are in the server, people ready-up and either knife and/or pistol for captains.
3) People that are killed at this time should move to SPECTATE when killed (except the last two people alive - but even they attack each other to see who's the last man standing). The LAST person alive is the 1st Captain and gets map-choice, the other person...
